Manchester City are off to a futbol fans tienda flying start with five wins from five at the start of Pep Guardiola’s reign.

But the Blues STILL have three of their major summer signings yet to make a debut.

And with skipper Vincent Kompany aiming for a return to action next month after his injury woes, Guardiola could soon face one of the biggest selection headaches in football history.

He singled out Ilkay Gundogan as his new midfield general in the summer, and was also desperate to land pacy Germany winger Leroy Sane and Barcelona goalkeeper Claudio Bravo.

But how do they fit into his best XI? We ask our City writers to come up with what THEY think should be Pep’s team when every player is fit and available.

Unthinkable as it may seem, that red-hot midfield that dissected West Ham in a beautiful first half on Saturday could get even better.

It is difficult to see how Gundogan fits in right now, but bearing in mind that Guardiola bought him as the man to fill Yaya’s huge boots as the midfield fulcrum, space will be found for the Germany international.

Pep has already hinted that he sees De Bruyne principally as a wide player, to utilise those wicked whipped crosses, and that makes room for Gundogan alongside Silva.

Sane can wait for his chance, but Kompany could be another huge figure for Pep, especially alongside John Stones.

Guardiola has no problem making big decisions but it is an unenviable task to camiseta dybala niño try and cram all of their big-money attackers into the side as possible.

While it is made harder by the fact that everyone has started the season in superb form, Gundogan must be part of the masterplan and De Bruyne and Silva need to be kept central.

Full-back seems the weakest area, so given Fernandinho can play in 10 positions, has the legs for it and would be coming inside to central midfield anyway I’ve crowbarred him in there.
